Ben Kernich is currently a Data & Performance Analyst in the Business Intelligence & Planning team at the University of South Australia. He is an analytical person who aims to provide insights using data and statistics and aims to ensure informed outcomes in the decision-making process.
Ben completed a Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning (with Honours) in 2014 with his honour’s thesis focussed on the value of the Adelaide Park Lands and how the government structure addresses community values. The project focussed on critical literature reviews, research design and organisation and data gathering to form recommendations about the government structure and management of the Adelaide Park Lands.

Prior to joining the University of South Australia, Ben worked in all levels of government (Federal, State and local). He also involved in the local sporting community being an umpire in the Adelaide Footy League and player at the Coromandel Cricket Club.
