Bridgette is a practising visual artist and a tutor at UniSA. Current roles include tutor at Wirringka Student Services UniSA (Foundation, Undergrad and HD students) and online tutor for the Digital Media Degree (XBDM). About me
Bridgette is a practising visual artist and a tutor at UniSA. Current roles include tutor at Wirringka Student Services UniSA (Foundation, Undergrad and HD students) and online tutor for the Digital Media Degree (XBDM). Her recently completed PhD focused on visual art, urban spaces and the ability of arts engagement to improve the environments where people work and study. A freelance visual artist based in Adelaide, Bridgette has over 20 years’ project experience working with cultural institutions, local government, hospitals, industry, schools, and diverse interest groups on exhibitions, public art commissions and community art projects, installing artworks into spaces of high public access. As an artist and designer, Bridgette has produced work in a diverse range of visual arts media (photography, painting, ceramics, jewellery, digital projections, installations, and public art) with significant commissions for the Adelaide Festival Centre, Flinders Medical Centre and Local Government. Bridgette has also worked for SA Museum (exhibition assistant), and UniSA (Research Assistant TIU).
