Kate Greenfield is a Senior Project Officer based in the Future Industries Institute (FII). She provides high level support and management to the Institute’s major funding programs: Innovative Launch, Automation, Novel Materials, Communications, and Hypersonics Hub (iLAuNCH Hub) and Cooperative Research Centres (CRCs).
With over 20 years’ experience in the higher education and research sectors, Kate has undertaken roles as research coordinator in UniSA’s research office, development manager in research centres and in project roles at SmartSat CRC. With over 20 years’ experience in the higher education and research sectors, Kate has undertaken roles as research coordinator in UniSA’s research office, development manager in research centres and in project roles at SmartSat CRC. She is highly skilled in project coordination, management of stakeholder relationships, supporting and mentoring researchers in application development, strategic planning and in the provision of support to senior leaders.
Outside of work, Kate is passionate about social justice and the environment, enjoys all things tennis and can often be found with her nose in a good book.
