Kate is the Unit Manager for People, Talent & Culture (PTC) at the University of South Australia and leads the Business Services Team within PTC.
In her role, she provides operational leadership and management of the Unit. Kate is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Unit, including staffing and resourcing, business services and the systematic management, coordination, and organisation of activities through the Office of the Executive Director: People Talent & Culture.
As a member of the PTC Executive Team, Kate works with the Executive to develop, support, implement and monitor long term strategic plans, WH&S, risk assessment, governance, and budgetary monitoring.

Kate has worked at UniSA since 2011 and has most recently has worked as the Executive Officer in UniSA Creative where she provided high level executive and project management services to the Academic Unit and the Executive Team including strategic advice, governance, communication management, and, implementing strategies to support the achievements of UniSA Creatives strategic development and operational objectives.
Previous to this, Kate worked as a Research Coordinator to support the Dean: Research. In this role she worked to develop and coordinate research development and research education activities.
Kate has PhD and Honours from the University of Adelaide and a Bachelor of Science from Flinders University. She is also an accredited Research Manager ARMS(F) with the Australian Research Management Society.
