Kayla Tempest

I am supporting the Chief Academic Services Officer, Education Futures, Student and Academic Services, Student Engagement Unit, and UniSA International in my position of Strategic People Partner position in the Strategic Partnering team in People, Talent, and Culture (PTC). 

I work closely with designated area(s) to deliver UniSA’s people strategy by identifying and analysing business needs and supporting the development of solutions to deliver on the business area’s plans and people related objectives. 

Previously, I supported UniSA STEM (previously Division of Information Technology, Engineering, and the Environment) and the Future Industries Institute (FII), in my position of Business Partner in PTC, since commencing at the University in 2016. More recently, I supported UniSA STEM, FII Deputy Vice Chancellor: Research and Enteprise, Enterprise Partnerships and University Research Officer in my position of Business Partner PTC,in my position of Senior People Consultant, since returning from parental leave in April 2023.

Since graduating from a Bachelor in Business degree - Marketing and Human Resources in 2012 from Flinders University, I have held several positions in Human Resources in State Government. 

In addition to my location at City West, I also have presence at Magill and Mawson Lakes campus.
