Md Ali Hossain

I am an academician and researcher in Computer Science & Engineering with a proven track record of producing impactful research in the field of Information Technology. I am deeply passionate about developing high-quality research projects, particularly in the areas of data mining and machine learning. I was awarded the University Gold Medal for academic excellence in my BSc in Computer Science & Engineering, reflecting my early dedication to academic achievement. I earned my PhD in Computer Science from the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia, in June 2014, and received the Most Outstanding PhD Thesis Award in the field of Information Technology. With over 14 years of academic experience, I have served in various teaching and research roles at institutions across Australia, Singapore, and other countries. These include positions as a casual lecturer at the University of South Australia, La Trobe University, the University of New South Wales, PSB Academy Singapore, and as a Professor at Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology in Bangladesh. My teaching portfolio spans both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, demonstrating my capability in designing and delivering high-quality educational content. In addition to my academic background, I have gained industry experience as a Software Engineer at Huon Contractors Pty Ltd., Canberra, Australia. Currently, I am seeking a position at a reputed institution that values dedicated, talented, and self-motivated academicians committed to excellence in teaching and research.
