Michael Kutschbach is a lecturer in the Bachelor of Contemporary Art at the South Australian School of Art | UniSA Creative. With a multi-disciplinary background to practice, Michael teaches across various media, with a main focus area in Foundation studio areas as well as 3rd year and Honours supervision.
Michael has also taught at the Adelaide Central School of Art and the Berlin University of the Arts.
As a practicing artist, his interests are focussed around the affective qualities of haptic surfaces and imagery. These interests transfer into artefacts and events that may incorporate painting, drawing, sculpture, installation and moving image works.
