I am a seasoned doctorate in chemistry with 12 plus years of experience in the e-publishing vertical related to academic research in Science, Technology and Medicine domains. My total expertise has molded me primarily in quality management and operations besides editing covering scientific research data. My rich experience across various states and international publishing houses has enabled me to meet requirement-based process demands in addition to improving the efficiency of the system. I have used my skills in change and change management for favourable results across the organizations. I have been successful in ensuring a quality drive of the highest standard across geographical locations. Can manage end-to-end typesetting (template development, composing, illustrations, proof reading, copy editing, QC, XML) projects through industry-experienced professionals associated with me.
This apart, I possess hands-on experience in the preparation of microporous and mesoporous aluminosilicates, aluminophosphates, silica tempates, and characterization of as-synthesized catalysts using XRD, FT-IR, SEM, TEM, BET, TGA etc. Catalytic performance of the prepared catalysts have been tested for industrially important reactions.
Supported the Future Industries Institute's (FII) Technical Services Team for about an year across its activities in supporting researchers by ensuring timely assistance with regard to facilities and infrastructure arrangements. Managing a couple of laboratorise since 2016 that includes training on equipment, maintenace, WHS activities, laboratory inductions, quarterly laboratory inspections, safe disposal of wastes, risk assessments for chemicals, processes and equipment to name a few.
BOC trained and certified on safe handling of liquid nitrogen and gas cylinders. Other roles include: Active member of WHS Operations Group and WHS Management Group - FII, Building First Aid Officer and Building Emergency Evacuation Officer.
Currently serving as Technical Officer - Chemical & WHS Support @ UniSA STEM.
