About me
I teach science in a supportive environment within university enabling programs, which includes foundations studies and diploma pathways. Here I coordinate 'Physics for Health' and 'Science for Tertiary Leaning'. Course development of online learning activities and practical laboratory activities is also something I'm working on. I have been teaching across science and engineering since 2010 at all three universities in SA, but I have seen a real need to shift the way we traditionally teach students who are making the transition to university.
I originally studied a PhD in at Flinders University where I then worked as a researcher in materials science for a further 4 years, and currently conduct radiation research at the University of Adelaide.
I moved to Education Futures in 2019, and I now teach into the sciences stream of enabling programs within The College.
