Sam is an Online Course Facilitator (OCF) for the Bachelor of Health Science (Exercise and Nutrition) Course at UniSA Online. As an OCF, Sam is responsible for leading the development and delivery of teaching for UniSA Online students. About me
Sam is an Online Course Facilitator (OCF) for the Bachelor of Health Science (Exercise and Nutrition) Course at UniSA Online. As an OCF, Sam is responsible for leading the development and delivery of teaching for UniSA Online students. His role involves working closely with academic staff at UniSA to provide high-quality online teaching to undergraduate students, and to coordinate the day-to-day activities of online tutoring staff. Sam was a strength and conditioning coach for 10 years and has a PhD in exercise and sports science, which explored applied wearables technology for primary prevention of low back disorders. He was an assistant professor at the National Institute of Fitness and Sports in Kanoya, Japan, where he completed a Japan Society for the Promotion of Science research fellowship. His primary research areas include sprint running, sport performance, applied wearables, biomechanics and strength and conditioning.
