Ms Sam Goodred

I am a senior strategic leader with decades of demonstrated experience in senior positions within UniSA and government health departments in Australia and the UK. I have a law degree from the University of Sussex and broad experience in leadership, project management and policy development.

As General Manager of UniSA Creative I lead the effective delivery of services and operational support to the programs and research activities.

As the senior operational leader I support the Academic Unit to develop, implement and monitor long-term strategic plans and annual business plans, including partnering to deliver workforce planning, internationalisation plans, research plans, student load growth plans, load forecasting and financial management. I provide operational leadership of work, health and safety compliance and risk associated with the Unit’s activities.

I am the lead for all professional staff in the Unit and have a key focus on building the team culture, implementing business improvements to deliver quality services, and strengthening and building strong and cohesive partnerships and relationships within and outside of the Unit.

I joined UniSA in 2014 as Executive Officer to the Pro Vice Chancellor of the Division of Education, Arts and Social Sciences (EASS) and have also held the role of Division Manager and Manager of UniSA College.
