Samir's research interests revolve around organizational learning during accidents and disasters, and systems thinking. He focuses on areas that lie at the cusp of strategy, OB, and HR. Samir has published in journals such as Human Relations, Journal of Business Ethics, Human Resource Management, and Journal of Business Research. His undergraduate and postgraduate teaching experience extends to industry-based consulting projects and strategy-based Capstone units. He has also taught courses on Knowledge Management, Leading through Change, Strategic HRM, and OB. Before becoming an academic, Samir was a Major in the Indian army.
