Susan Gilbert Hunt is the Practice Education Coordinator and a lecturer in the occupational therapy program.  Through her longstanding commitment and expertise in practice base education she has received a number of awards including an Australian Learning and Teaching Council teaching excellence award for work-integrated learning.

Collaborating with aged care industry partners to improve both student learning experiences as well as service user’s experiences resulted in the development of the Aged Care Awareness website, which offers innovative and transformational ways of preparing students and workers for exciting careers in the aged care industry.

About me

Susan has undertaken a number of externally funded projects and consultancies, including most recently a Department of Communities and Social Inclusion Assistive Technology Equipment Prescribers Training project and a Teaching and Research in Aged Care Service project.
