I am a Professor in Learning Analytics and the Associate Director of Research Excellence and Communication at the Centre for Change and Complexity in Learning (C3L) at the University of South Australia. My primary research interests are in Learning Analytics and Artificial Intelligence in Education, with a particular focus on developing approaches for measuring the development of complex skills and competencies. I am the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Learning Analytics (JLA) and an Associate Editor at the Higher Education Research & Development (HERD) Journal. I am also leading the development of Chatmate GenAI platform, you can check it out at chatmate.c3l.ai.
