I also examine the technical and socioeconomic aspects of solutions to some of these problems, from the global scale (e.g. assessing the world's renewable energy potential and ecological footprint) down to the local scale (e.g. growing food in urban gardens). About me

I have a mixed background in civil engineering and environmental science, and put myself under the broad heading of "environmental engineering". At UniSA, I coordinate courses relating to water, environmental modelling and climate change adaptation, and I give various guest lectures and public talks relating to various aspects of sustainability.
