Joe Mandrell is an Online Course Facilitator (OCF) in Public Health at UniSA Online. As an OCF, Joe is responsible for leading the development and delivery of teaching for UniSA Online students. Joe is an experienced and dedicated educator and has taught across a wide range of courses in the Bachelor of Public Health and Bachelor of Psychology degrees. His cross-disciplinary background encompasses psychology, political science and education, and he uses his extensive experience to help students link key course concepts to real world applications.
Joe maintains a broad range of research interests and has an extensive background as a researcher across numerous projects. Recent research highlights have involved exploring predictors of regional resilience in areas impacted by natural disasters, as well as the development and validation of a psychometric scale to measure empowerment.
