John is Research Professor in Immunology and Vaccinology, and heads Expertimental Therapeutics Laboratory within the Clinical and Health Sciences Division at UniSA.
John's group perform basic, translational and clinical research that aims to improve chronic and acute health outcomes, by exploring novel immunotherapeutic approaches to treat and prevent acute and chronic infections, allergy and cancer.

About me
John is Research Professor in Immunology and Vaccinology, and heads Expertimental Therapeutics Laboratory within the Clinical and Health Sciences Division at UniSA.

He has a successful track record of research grant funding from the NHMRC, MRFF and ARC, as well as other National and International competative funding schemes.
He has a long history of biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry engagement, including executive, advisory and consultancies roles, and a track record of successful commercial collaborative and contractual research funding, and award of competative industry-leveraged federal and state government funding schemes.
