Research
Keri has a background in cultural anthropology and social science and a passion for research in alternative/regenerative futures, social movement studies, counter-development theory, and activating change for a better world.
Keri has been working with the international 52 Climate Actions project since it was founded in 2018. She is a qualified 'Green Educator', 'Water Sensitive SA', 'Living Smart', 'Retrosuburbia' and permaculture facilitator, as well as an experienced tertiary educator and community activist. She is also an Australian Red Cross 'Climate Ready Champion' and has been involved with organising large events in this space including the 'Climate Ready Forum' in 2019 and the inaugural 'Festival of Climate Action' in 2021. She has been a long-standing supporter of and speaker at the Transition Film Festival in Adelaide, member of Transition Adelaide Hills since 2012 and is a founding member of the Hills Climate Collective. She is also a member of WeALL (the Wellbeing Economy Alliance) Australia, NENA (the New Economy Network Australia) Adelaide, the SA Urban Food Network, and Permaculture SA. In 2012 she participated in the Dialogue Days for the drafting of the Sustainable Development Goals at the Rio +20 Earth Summit.
