Ms Leanne Steele

Leanne is the Program Manager: MBA Portfolio and responsible for managing and leading the professional staff team which supports and administers the portfolio of MBA programs including the MBA (offered nationally and in Hong Kong), and the Global Executive MBA in Defence and Space.  

Leanne has expertise in leading and managing complex projects, providing strategic advice, problem solving, and building, developing and leading teams.  She also has experience in supporting accreditation, benchmarking and performance processes and developing quality business cases and reports.

She has gathered extensive experience in the Australian higher education sector during 20 years of service.  A foundation member of the UniSA School of Law, Leanne was the School Manager for 11 years and was responsible for the establishment of the professional staff team and development of all administrative structures, systems and facilities.  As a member of the schools leadership team, she delivered strategic, project, people and resource management for the school.

Leanne developed her leadership skills providing high level strategic and policy advice and extensive managerial and advocacy experience through previous roles at UniSA, namely: Executive Officer to the Pro Vice Chancellor, Division of Business, and Coordinator, Student Advisory Officer team in the UniSA Students’ Association.

A trained Secondary teacher, Leanne holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and a Bachelor of Education (Graduate Entry) and a Graduate Certificate of Business Administration from the University of South Australia.  She is currently studying a Master of Business Administration.
