Rizwana Shahzad (Ph.D.) has extensive experience conducting national and cross-country education sector research projects in Australia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and other countries. Currently a Grant Developer at the University of South Australia (UniSA), she has previously worked as a Research Assistant at UniSA and Deakin University, as well as a Research Fellow at I-SAPS (Institute of Social and Policy Sciences), Pakistan. Her research interests center around education governance and equity challenges, education policy and reforms, student assessments and datafication, gender in education, and data-based decision-making and accountability.
