Current PhD Candidate researching interdisciplinary approaches to the primary prevention of workplace sexual harassment.
I am an interdisciplinary academic researcher and PhD candidate based at the University of South Australia's Centre for Workplace Excellence. Across my research, I utilise my interdisciplinary background in psychology, gender studies and social analysis to advocate for intersectional, inclusive research, workplace systems and professional practice.
I have experience in course development and co-supervising Honours and Master's students' research, advising on inclusive and qualitative aspects of research. I have won awards for gender-inclusive methodology, qualitative methods, and conference presentations. I also have experience consulting in the health and policy sectors of government, including running seminars.
I am an Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society's (APS) College of Clinical Psychology and sit on the APS's Diverse Bodies, Genders, and Sexualities national committee, where I advocate for gender-affirming practice.
DISCIPLINES: Psychological science, sociology, and gender studies.
METHODOLOGIES: Grounded theory, thematic analysis, and discursive analysis.
