A little bit about me...
I studied midwifery at UniSA and consolidated my practice at a large public hospital in Adelaide before heading overseas to volunteer as a midwife in Eastern Africa. Upon return to Adelaide, I settled in a small private hospital and have continued to engage with several midwifery education and practice programs in various parts of Africa and Asia.
Currently, I remain clinically active on a casual basis and have undertaken various roles at UniSA over the past seven years – clinical facilitator, demonstrator, clinical midwife, tutor – before settling into the academic team as a lecturer. I teach across all stages of the program, in various (mainly theoretical) courses.

I have undertaken post-graduate study in perinatal mental health, research methods and intercultural studies, and completed a minor thesis that explored the learning experiences of international students in midwifery.
