The recipient of four teaching awards, she uses the ethos of partnership, participation and collaboration (doing together and learning from each other) in her interactions with students and other education offerings.
Angela's doctoral research was a person-environment-occupation (PEO) analysis of the relationship between dementia and driving, with particular emphasis on the occupational therapy assessment of on-road driving performance. She is the author of a number of publications and a regular presenter at national and international conferences.
Angela developed Australia's first integrated online / face to face intensive driver assessment and rehabilitation course for postgraduate occupational therapists in 2003.
