Angela is a registered Psychologist with a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology and over 20 years’ experience providing professional counselling services. During this time, Angela has worked in a variety of settings including as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Relationships Australia, Community Health and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services. Angela has worked both as a professional staff member and academic in the School of Psychology and DeLissa Institute for Family Studies at the University of South Australia.
Angela is committed to providing a progressive counselling service for students in order to improve their overall wellbeing and ability to cope with the demands of University study. Angela has extensive training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness therapies and provides evidence based interventions for a wide range of issues that affect University students, including:
- Anxiety and Stress
- Depression
- Emotional resilience
- Family issues
- Grief and loss
- Relationship issues
- Self-esteem, confidence and assertiveness
- Social difficulties
Angela Clewer works part-time at City West Campus on Monday through to Thursday.
