Recipient of an inaugural seeding grant from the Rosemary Bryant AO Research Centre for the 'Shared knowledge to promote patient-centred care for people with Takotsubo syndrome' project. The project is an international collaboration between expert researchers and clinicians in the field of Takotsubo syndrome (TTS) and members of the Takotsubo Support Group people who have experienced Takotsubo syndrome (TTS), collectively known as the 'Takotsubo Network'.  Key deliverables of this project are:

• provision of a web-based platform for accessible education and support that meets the needs of people with TTS, health professionals , researchers, and the general public;
• international engagement between researchers, health professionals and people with TTS; and  
• research data that reflects authentic experiences of people with TTS that can be accessed by TTS researchers to generate evidence leading to  best practice and patient-centred care.

The Takotsubo network is scheduled to 'go live' on the 5th April 2019 at https://www.takotsubo.net.
