About me
Ann is a Senior Lecturer in Occupational Therapy and has taught in occupational therapy programs in Germany, Austria and Australia. An experienced clinician, she is passionate about supporting parents and caregivers of children with disabilities and making healthcare as accessible as possible, particularly for people living in rural and remote areas or unable to access services due to other factors.
Ann’s research interests include exploring the relationship between playfulness and wellbeing across the lifespan; early identification and intervention for preschool children with developmental coordination disorder; and supporting caregivers support their loved ones. She is keen to work with clinicians who have research ideas that they want to explore further.
In addition to her research publications, Ann has also contributed chapters to a variety of allied health books and co-edited with Professor Sylvia Rodger the second edition of Occupation-centred practice with children, an internationally used paediatric textbook for occupational therapists.
