Anna Longford is a Construction Management Lecturer in Information Technology & Mathematical Sciences (STEM) at the University of South Australia (UniSA). She is one of the first female Carpenter and Joiners in South Australia in 1994. Completing her carpentry and joinery apprenticeship with Masters Builders Association (MBA) in 1997. Constantly pushing boundaries and not begin the norm ('give it a go'). Before joining UniSA, I lectured at Technical and Further Education (TAFE) for ten years whilst still working within the building industry. Some of these varying roles were as an estimator, supervisor, administrative, 'small business owner', and subcontractor (on the tools).

About me

Anna also supports MATES in construction in South Australia and is trained in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills.
When she isn't glued to a chair in front of the computer, she enjoys adventures around our great country 'Australia' with her husband and "the dogs" (who are well travelled), loves getting grounded with dirty 'red' feet and meeting the locals.
