Dr Anthony Roccisano is a research associate at the Future Industries Institute (University of South Australia). Anthony completed his Ph.D. in 2020 at the University of Adelaide and Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical and Aerospace) with first class Honours in 2015, also at the University of Adelaide. Anthony’s Ph.D. was undertaken through industry collaboration with the Energy Pipelines CRC and was on the topic of manufacturing processes affecting Stress Corrosion Cracking (SCC) of pipeline steels. The research involved laboratory scale thermomechanical controlled processing of steel plates followed by experimental characterization of a range of material properties and SCC susceptibility.
