Ash Tower is a research assistant and sessional tutor within the School of Art, Architecture and Design. His recently completed PhD research involves the cultural relationships between different knowledge disciplines (specifically between artists and scientists) in laboratory spaces. More recently he has have published work on academic work cultures, specifically on the relationship between gender and time in academic environments. He is also an artist and arts writer.
