After graduating from a Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science, Ashlyn decided to pursue her honours year with the ACTB group, under the supervision of A/Prof. Anton Blencowe. Her research focuses on the development of electrostatically controlled drug release of alendronate from molecularly imprinted polymer, intended for future loading in biodegradable implants for the treatment of osteoporosis.
Outside of research, Ashlyn has been involved in practical demonstrating for undergraduate chemistry courses, Chemistry 100 and Chemistry 101.
