Dr. Asif Iqbal is an Environmental Specialist, with a proven track record in Environmental Assessment, Modelling, Monitoring, Planning and Management strategies. He is recognized for his research works and experiences in Emissions (GHGs/climate forcers, and pollutants) modelling, emission reduction strategies for industries and transport, transport planning, effects/risk assessment, environmental modelling, and sustainability assessment. He has been particularly interested in developing environmental management strategies ensuring eco-efficiency. He obtained his PhD in Environmental Modelling/Transport Planning from the University of South Australia (UniSA) in 2016. The title of his PhD dissertation was - “Modelling eco-efficiency for vehicular emissions”. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Khulna University, Bangladesh, and then a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand.
