Welcome to my home page. I have recently retired from the Universiy and have taken up a role as an adjunct Professor. My particular interests are in industry and international engagemement and teaching and learning. My professional background is in Statistics.
I have extensive academic experience having worked at the University for over 35 years. During this time I held a number of roles including as Head of various schools and as Dean, Teaching and Learning for over 15 years. Welcome to my home page. I have recently retired from the Universiy and have taken up a role as an adjunct Professor. My particular interests are in industry and international engagemement and teaching and learning. My professional background is in Statistics.
I have extensive academic experience having worked at the University for over 35 years. During this time I held a number of roles including as Head of various schools and as Dean, Teaching and Learning for over 15 years. In this role in 2004 I won a national teaching award for my work on encouraging young people in the Northern suburbs of Adelaide to consider University study. I was the inaugural winner of the SA Science Educator of the Year award for my work in leading a team of industry staff and academics who ran the Robotic Peer Mentoring program.
My wide ranging interests include developing approaches to further encourage industry – university collaboration, online learning, international education, supporting innovation and curriculum development.
