Cécile has a longstanding commitment to social justice and human rights and completed the Bachelor of Social Work at UniSA in 1999. After graduation Cécile worked for Offenders Aid and Rehabilitation Services of SA (OARS) for 9 years. Cécile initially worked as a case manager for women released from prison to homelessness. From there Cécile went on to manage all accommodation programs for OARS and finally as General Manager of Client Services. Cécile is a French-Australian woman living and working on Permangk and Kaurna country. Her pronouns are she/her.
Cécile has a longstanding commitment to social justice and human rights and completed the Bachelor of Social Work at UniSA in 1999. After graduation Cécile worked for Offenders Aid and Rehabilitation Services of SA (OARS) for 9 years. Cécile initially worked as a case manager for women released from prison to homelessness. From there Cécile went on to manage all accommodation programs for OARS and finally as General Manager of Client Services. After OARS Cécile worked as a policy officer for Homelessness SA, a client services worker for the Domestic Violence Crisis Service and a sessional tutor for the University of South Australia (UniSA) until May 2010. In May 2010 Cécile accepted the continuing position of Field Education Coordinator (FEC) for social work and human services in the unit of Justice and Society at UniSA.
Cécile holds a number of positions within the National Tertiary Education Union (NTEU).
