Dr Chia-Yen (Chad) Chiu

Dr Chia-Yen (Chad) Chiu is a Senior Lecturer and a member of the Centre for Workplace Excellence (CWeX), School of Management. He holds a PhD in Management from the University at Buffalo, the State University of New York, a Masters of Business Administration from the National Sun Yat-sen University, and a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from the National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan. 

Dr. Chiu's research interests include team leadership, social network theories, and social influence. About me

Dr Chia-Yen (Chad) Chiu is a Senior Lecturer and a member of the Centre for Workplace Excellence (CWeX), School of Management. He holds a PhD in Management from the University at Buffalo, the State University of New York, a Masters of Business Administration from the National Sun Yat-sen University, and a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from the National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan. 

Dr. Chiu's research interests include team leadership, social network theories, and social influence. Chad has published in multiple top peer-reviewed journals in the academic field of organisational research, such as Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management Studies, and Leadership Quarterly. Here is a video about Dr. Chiu's research on teams and leadership.

He also teaches various courses related to people management in organisations, including Human Resource Management, Organisational Behaviour, Organisational Leadership, and Business Research Method.
