Dr Craig Lee is an Associate Professor of Tourism at the University of South Australia. He holds a PhD in management and a master’s and bachelor’s degree in hospitality and tourism management. About me
Dr Craig Lee is an Associate Professor of Tourism at the University of South Australia. He holds a PhD in management and a master’s and bachelor’s degree in hospitality and tourism management. His research focuses on entrepreneurship and innovation in hospitality and tourism, which is published in the leading academic journals across various disciplines including tourism, marketing, and business. He also serves on the editorial boards of several academic journals including Tourism Management Perspectives and the Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Management, and is an Associate Editor for the Journal of Foodservice Business Research. In addition, he is actively involved in consultancy work for Australia and New Zealand's tourism and hospitality industries.
Dr Lee has experience teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in research methods, hospitality management, entrepreneurship and small business, festivals and event management, tourism marketing, and business ethics. He is also actively supervising PhD and master’s-by-research students.
Dr Lee was a former board member of DunedinHOST (2017–2019), the primary industry body for tourism operators in and around Dunedin, New Zealand. Craig is available for media commentary on matters related to the hospitality industry.
