About me

Damon is the head of the Allergy and Cancer Immunology laboratory in the Centre for Cancer Biology (CCB), a joint venture between UniSA and SA Pathology.

Damon received a Ph.D. in Immunology from the University of Adelaide in 2009 followed by post-doctoral studies at Chiba University Medical School, Japan where he was promoted to Assistant Professor in 2011 and Associate Professor in 2014. His main research interests are lymphocyte differentiation and immunological memory in the context of chronic allergic inflammation. He returned to Australia in 2015 and joined the new EMBL Australia Systems Immunology group at the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI) from 2015-2018 where he worked on immune system programming ...
