Danielle graduated from the University of South Australia with a Double Degree of Law and Civil Engineering (first class honours) before being admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of South Australia. Danielle has worked as both a Civil Engineer and Lawyer in Australia and abroad, and is a current member of Engineers Australia. In her free time Danielle volunteers as a Justice of the Peace of South Australia, and is the current Vice Chair for the College of Leadership and Management, Engineers Australia.

Danielle is currently completing a PhD at the University of South Australia which is a collaboration between the school of Law (Justice and Society) and the Future Industries Institute. Danielle's PhD discusses legal liabilities for the recycled water sector in Australia.
