After that, he joined Tohoku University, Japan on receiving MEXT Scholarship for PhD and he obtained his PhD with "Director's Prize" from Tohoku University in 2010 under the supervision of Prof. Tsugio Sato. Later, He joined Prof. Honma group as postdoctoral researcher to work on high capacity and high density Li-ion batteries and in 2011 he obtained ‘JSPS’ fellowship to work on developing novel electrode materials. His focus was to synthesize nanosize cathode materials by supercritical fluid process and other solution process and to study the electrochemical performances. He has contributed to develop a one pot process for high energy capacity materials with lower diameter size. He promoted as Research Assistant Professor in 2014 and during this tenure, he gudided few Bachelors, Masters and Postdoctoral researchers.
