About me
Emily is an established Psychologist with over 15 years’ experience across not-for-profit and private sectors. Emily has developed expertise supporting children, adolescents, and adults across a range of areas and with a focus on clinical assessment and therapy. She has extensive experience working in the field of trauma from abuse and spent time working in regional Western Australia. Emily has experience managing both clinical and multi-agency services in the community sector and is an advocate for trauma informed service provision.
Emily is an AHPRA approved supervisor and has for many years focused on supporting both provisional and registered psychologists in working with persons who have experienced trauma from abuse through consultation and supervision. In recent years Emily has broadened her clinical leadership lens to supporting groups of professionals via education initiatives, including development of training, teaching and facilitation.
Emily joined the Australian Centre for Child Protection at the University of South Australia in June 2021 and has been engaged in the development and delivery of the workforce development trainings.
