Emmae Ramsay is an experienced biostatistician having worked for almost 15 years in the fields of pharmaceutical, medical and public health. She has developed unique skills in epidemiology, applied statistics and specifically pharmacoepidemiology. Her research focuses on applying complex epidemiological designs and statistical techniques to large healthcare datasets to monitor the risks of medicines. She currently works as a senior statistician for the Quality Use of Medicines and Pharmacy Research Centre and is the lead statistician on two significant projects, the Department of Veterans’ Affairs Veterans’ MATES program and the NHMRC funded Centre of Research Excellence in Post Market surveillance of medicines and devices.
