Highlights

My research interest is the use of low-temperature, atmospheric-pressure plasmas for biological and medical applications. At UniSA we have been focusing on the metrology of plasma interactions with tissue. We aim to establish a firm scientific knowledge of how plasma can be applied safely and effectively to tissue (human, meats, fruit and vegetables). We apply this knowledge for advancing new medical therapies (wound therapy, cancer therapy and regenerative medicine) and emerging food manufacturing industries (meats, fruits and vegetables).
