Dr Eric L. Hsu is a Lecturer in the Justice & Society Academic Unit at the University of South Australia. At the Hawke EU Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence, he serves as a Leader of a Research Platform on 'Mobilities, Migrations & Cultural Identities'. Dr. Hsu holds expertise in the sociology of sleep, the social theory of time, and his research also extends into the sociology of disasters and the social study of robotic technologies. He currently serves as the Co-Reviews Editor of Applied Mobilities. In 2018, an article of his in the flagship journal of the British Sociological Association was shortlisted for the SAGE Prize for Innovation and Excellence.
