Eyob Alemayehu Gebreyohannes is an experienced researcher and educator hailing from Ethiopia, with extensive expertise in both international and Australian research and higher education landscapes. He recently earned his Ph.D. from the University of Western Australia, a thesis titled "Exploration of barriers and facilitators to initiating oral anticoagulants among patients with atrial fibrillation in Australian primary healthcare settings". His scholarly pursuits encompass a wide array of areas, including the safe and effective utilisation of medicines, pharmacy practice research, patient-reported outcomes, geriatric medicine, and implementation research.
Currently, Eyob is directing his research efforts towards the development of a consumer-centric digital health system aimed at enhancing the detection, management, and reporting of adverse drug events (ADEs).
