My Role

As Enterprise Architect, I am responsible for the University’s enterprise architecture practice and for providing strategic direction for the University’s application architecture and supporting technology infrastructure underpinning the University’s student, teaching and learning, research and business systems.

My key responsibilies include:    

• Establishing and maintaining the University’s enterprise architecture practice and future-state architecture vision.
• Collaborating closely with the University’s ICT and business leaders to position ICT systems and solutions as key enablers in the support of the University’s strategic objectives and direction.
• Providing specialist advice to ICT and business leaders to influence information management and technology planning and investment.
• Developing and leading an enterprise architecture program of work to implement the objectives of the enterprise architecture roadmap.
• Liaising with ICT Managers and teams to manage the identification, analysis and prioritisation of focus areas to ensure technical currency of the ICT environment.
• Coordinating the development of architectural standards and governance framework to ensure standards, policies and industry best practices are being adhered to.
• Identifing and assess new and emerging technologies, products and techniques to determine the likely relevance for the organisation.
• Promoting the enterprise architecture vision across the University and promoting the embedding of architectural principles across all architectural layers: business, data, application and technology.
