Mr Greg Lucas

Greg Lucas is an Online Course Facilitator (Financial Planning) at UniSA Online.

Greg holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Bond University, a Masters of Business Administration (in which he graduated on the Director's List for Outstanding Academic Achievement) from Griffith University and Certified Financial Planner status from the Financial Planning Association of Australia.

Prior to moving in to academia, Greg was a practising Financial Adviser and principal of a financial planning practice for 22 years. As such, he brings his practical experience to his teaching at UniSA Online. Since 1997, he has authored and delivered courses including Retirement Planning, Estate Planning and Investment Fundamentals for community colleges and private institutions.

Greg is a passionate and enthusiastic teacher who enjoys supporting and mentoring his students. He was particularly attracted to UniSA Online due to its high-performing academic team, the quality of its courses and the ability for students (many of whom are practising financial advisers) to choose where they study, when they study as well as the pace of their studies.

Greg has been a Director of Korowal School since 2010. He has been the school's Chair and Chair of its Finance and Resources Committee since 2011. He serves in these roles in an honorary capacity and is known for his dedication and commitment to education. He has developed a reputation for providing governance leadership and innovative solutions along with his ability to communicate with clarity, calmness and objectivity.
