Dr Gordon Yuan is a Lecturer/Course Coordinator in Finance within UniSA Business at the University of South Australia. Gordon also takes the role of Course Facilitator for UniSA Online since 2020. Prior to commencing these roles, Gordon has accumulated extensive teaching and research experience from both Australia and China.

Gordon’s research and teaching interests encompass the broader areas of finance, accounting and taxation, including market valuation for financial behaviors or regulatory events, finance and financial markets, taxation policies, market structure, corporate governance and impacts of ownership structure. Currently, Gordon focuses on the areas of international finance, tax aggressiveness, Event Study and performance evaluation in transition economy financial systems such as China. Gordon’s research has been published in international journal articles and conference papers.
Gordon also has committed to various industry and community engagement. He is a full member of CPA Australia.
