Hamid commenced his PhD in The university of Queensland (UQ) working on design and synthesis of multifunctional mesoporous materials. Later in 2016, Hamid moved to UniSA, together with his research group to continue his PhD in FII. His PhD work was mainly focused on developing new mesoprous heteropoly acds for Li ion battery application. In addition he has discovered a novel approach on converting mesoporos heteropoly acids to porous Molybdenum and Tunsten carbide as a promising electrode for hydrogen generation and energy storage nanomaterial.
