Dr Hana (Arghavan) Hadinejad is a Lecturer at the UniSA Business. Hana holds a PhD in the field of Tourism Marketing with a focus on Tourism Advertising and Psychophysiological Technologies. She has a Master's of Tourism Marketing.
Hana has academic and industry experience in tourism, hospitality and destination marketing in Australia and internationally. She has taught a variety of Tourism, Hospitality and Marketing courses. Hana won the UniSA Citation for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning, Course Design award, and Teaching Commendation in 2022. In addition, Hana won the Teaching Excellence Award in 2021. Hana attained the Associate Fellow of Higher Education Academy certificate in 2020 which evidences her commitment to quality teaching and supporting learning in higher education. Hana also won a teaching grant on the role of gamification in teaching in 2020.
Her research focuses on cognitive psychology, social psychology, emotion, attitude, advertisement, physiological technologies and destination marketing. Her research on attitudinal studies, emotion, physiological measurements and cross-cultural studies using quantitative and qualitative methods have been published in quality journals in the field of Tourism and Hospitality such as Tourism Management, Journal of Travel Research, Journal of Sustainable Tourism, Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Management, and Tourism Recreation Research. Hana won the Emerald Literati Award for the Highly Commended Paper in 2019 and 2020.
Hana's industry experience involves the role of a market researcher in Australia and internationally. She has cooperated with a number of organisations including but not limited to the Australian National Environmental Science Program, The Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), Mantra Group Hotels, the Intrepid Travel, Study Gold Coast and Genetic Foundation of Khorasan Razavi.
