Dr Hazel Vandeleur

Based in the Futures Industries Institute at Mawson Lakes, I specialise in the impacts of industry on marine and coastal environments. Current projects focus on the legacy contamination of sediments stemming from industry in the Upper Spencer Gulf. I have worked in academic, Government and private consultancy sectors as an environmental scientist for the past 17 years. I’ve worked within the UK, Europe,China, New Zealand and Australia and, as such, have excellent specialist and technical knowledge of marine and coastal systems. As an environmental professional, I have extensive experience in assessing impacts upon marine and coastal systems around the world with a specialism in contaminated sediments and their impacts on marine systems.
