Jake Shaw is a lecturer in the Bachelor of Interior Architecture program and a practicing designer/fabricator.
He has worked broadly with leading designers and manufacturers with a focus on furniture, public art, and theatre, as well as ongoing sculptural exhibition work. As a multidisciplinary practitioner, he engages with projects from early sketch design and development to hands-on manufacturing/installation.
His practice sits at the intersection of the design industry and the arts & culture sector, and interprets design through the broader lens of placemaking, community building, craft, and 'making'.
